In April 2018, Pearl Diagnostics published a paper in Clinical Infectious Diseases titled: “Urine Antigen Detection as an Aid to Diagnose Invasive Aspergillosis”. Pearl Diagnostics in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University published a paper in Clinical Infectious Diseases (CID) detailing an optimized lateral flow dipstick assay utilizing a galactofuranose-specific antibody (mAb476). This urine test showed promise as an aid to diagnose high-risk patients for Invasive aspergillosis (IA).
